2009 Ozone Lineup Announced

Ozone has updated their line of depowerable foil kites. With changes to their entire depowerable line, the biggest change appears to be to their medium aspect Frenzy kite called the Frenzy FYX for 2009. Now featuring many additions to last year’s Manta II, the Frenzy FXY benefits from the Y-Line Bridle, the X-Line anti-tangle system and a double pulley system to make for quick turning speeds and a smooth de-power range.
The new 2009 Manta II preserves most of the features from last year and adds the new control system that features a unified bar, and some nice trimming features. The revised Manta II also has a new set of colors that are sure to compliment even the most discerning kiters’ wardrobe.

The Access XC 09, Ozone’s beginner kite, now comes with the same bar system shared by the other two kites in the lineup, new 40D Rip-Stop Nylon and a mountain backpack that is much more of a serious piece of gear than in previous versions.
Ozone continues to innovate and with the added advantages of an in-house production facility, a top-notch designer and a dedicated corp of kiters pushing the limits of modern kite gear, I expect to continue to see impressive, innovative kiting done with this top quality gear.
