Cabrinha “Override” IDS coming by popular demand
I guess I wasn’t the only one that thought the Cabrinha IDS needed the punch-out collar on the chicken loop to keep bar from sliding out of reach when riding one-handed and spinning the bar. The previous models had it, but they removed it when the IDS system came out. I assume they removed it so that in the event that you needed to release the IDS, the bar would slide uninhibited. They are supplying the Override for FREE, but you will have to contact your local Cabrinha dealer to order them.The new chicken loop line appears to be larger in diameter and softer, so it looks like you will need to specify that it is for the newer IDS kites.
