The Snowkite Summit is the start to the snowkite season.

Kick off the 2009 snowkite season at the Snowkite Summit Expo and Festival at Skyline December 6-7th. This event hosted by Windzup and Drift Snowkite Magazine will feature product demos, beginner lessons, and a variety of fun snowkiting events including an Expression Session, GPS Waypoint Race, and kite tours of Skyline. Meet new kiters, check out the latest products, brush up on some skills or discover snowkiting for the first time!
Industry Insider
This unique event provides Industry Insiders a unique opportunity to come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing this emerging sport. There will be an Snowkite Instructors Certification class offered during the Snowkite Summit provided by IKO. The Industry Insider sessions will include talks and panel discussions from experts from a variety of fields directly relevant to snowkiting.

Is this still happening even with the lack of snow? Sure would like to get Instructor Certified!
The Snowkite Summit is still going to happen. There is snow on Skyline and we are hoping for a bunch more before the event. Last year it dumped the Wednesday before the Summit and the conditions were epic.
