Going with the Flow
It takes a unique location and set of conditions to get the chance to snowkite on a beach right next to the sea. Maggie and Mark of Synergy Kitesports got that opportunity with a big dump in Northeastern Scottland. Already planning a trip to the Cairgorm Plateau, they awoke to find a significant snowfall from the night before and Maggie and Mark quickly shifted their plans. In search of snow covered sand dunes, they headed down to the beach and found dunes and beach covered with snow all the way to the high tide mark. Armed with a new 5m Ozone Flow and a 12m Manta II, they kited up and down the beach and explored the dunes along the shoreline. The results are amazing!
