Noah’s News – January 2010

This article is part 2 of 2 in the series Noah's News

As the last days of the month pass by, I’m still savoring the wild and wonderful snowkiting that has filled my days. It started with a week of wind and dumping snow in West Yellowstone. Following that I followed friends, the wind and fresh snow around Montana and eastern Idaho.

The list of kite spots grew long in a hurry: Island Park, Targhee Pass, Wolf Creek, Monarch Canyon, Belt Park, Deep Creek Pass, Raynolds Pass, Mullen Pass, Flathead Pass, Horn Mountains, Tetonia, Canyon Creek and of course, out my back door: Hospital Hill.

This month I really felt the rhythm of kite, eat and sleep and do it all over again, day after day. For me, there is no better feeling and I hope you find that cadence in your winter.

Also, our local Bozeman, Montana newspaper finally ran a story on snowkiting. Enjoy, thanks for reading and see ya out there,
