I returned recently from attending the Thompson Pass Snowkite Festival (www.tpskf.akevent.net) in Valdez, Alaska. Cabrinha “Override” IDS coming by popular demand
I guess I wasn’t the only one that thought the Cabrinha IDS needed the punch-out collar on the chicken loop to keep bar from sliding out of reach when riding one-handed and spinning the bar. The previous models had it, but they removed it when the IDS system came out. I assume they removed it so that in the event that you needed to release the IDS, the bar would slide uninhibited.
